There are many ways to stay in touch with the PTA:
- Come to the General Meetings! Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month (with some exceptions for holidays, etc.), alternating between evenings and mornings. Please see the calendar for the most updated information.
- Access your ParentSquare account. The River School and PTA uses ParentSquare to inform families of news and community events. Go to parentsquare.com and sign in with the email address or cell phone number you provided to the school at enrollment to customize the way you want to receive updates. ParentSquare gives you one place to stay informed about what’s going on in your child’s classroom, school-wide events, ways to get involved, and more. It replaces the PTA’s email list, Google calendar, and SignupGenius.
- Visit this website. Visit this site often for updates and new information about community events and other things happening in our school.
- Talk to your Executive Board members. You’ll find a list of your Executive Board members here. Feel free to reach out if you are interested in getting involved or have any questions or concerns about what’s going on around the River School. You can email the executive board at pta@ps281.org, or send a message via ParentSquare. Stop by the PTA office after drop-off; there’s usually someone there!
