Specialty Classes
We believe that students should have the opportunity to express their talents and interests in many ways and strive to provide multiple experiences to enhance their learning. Our enrichment programs include the Science Lab, Art, Music and Physical Education (PE).
| Science Lab | In the Science lab students conduct experiments, ask questions and learn science-related content, aligned to common core standards. |
| Art | Our art program provides a cultural component that is instrumental to our students’ academic and social-emotional growth. |
| Music | In music, students learn rhythms, notes on the staff, solfege, and musical expression, which they apply to playing percussion, Orff instruments, keyboards, recorders, ukuleles, and guitars. |
| Physical Education | Our physical education (PE) program enables students to improve their physical fitness by learning the skills necessary to lead active, healthy lifestyles. |
Enrichment
We are fortunate to have a generous PTA that funds enrichment programs for our students. The 2019-20 program partnerships below were selected to enhance our current curriculum:
